Our mission is to bring you exquisite hand-knotted rugs, made with all-natural fibers and ethically sourced from skilled artisans. Meet the Founder
I’m Allison and welcome to Nona Mae Rug Co. I am a Physician Assistant, wife and mom who loves home renovation and design. I used to search endlessly for beautiful, high quality rugs without success. Every 6 months I was buying washable rugs, department store rugs just to need to replace them a few months later.
Until I found hand knotted wool rugs which will withstand traffic, spills, and busy family life for many years. I still have my original Oushak rugs in my home which look like new.
I am excited to share my knowledge and love for hand knotted wool rugs with you. We have many in stock rugs for you to choose from or we can curate the perfect piece to complete your space!

How to Care for Your Rug
1. Keep your rug in great shape by vacuuming with a suction attachment. Avoid using a beater brush.
2. Rotate your rug every 6–12 months to prevent uneven wear and sun fading.
3. Spot clean by blotting with warm water and a drop of clear dish soap. Repeat until stain is gone. These rugs are very stain resistant!
